Location: Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur
Date: 8 December 2011 - 15 February 2012
A friend posted pictures of United Buddy Bears more than a week ago. I was looking forward to visit Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. It is their first tour in Malaysia. United Buddy Bears was first exhibited in Berlin 2002. The idea is to get to know each other better throughout the world. More than 140 bears with unique design which represent various countries.
The weather today is very good. We reached Pavilion at 11 o'clock. There were many people already and it seems they celebrated holidays in KL, in Pavilion which usually not so crowded as today.
I think the idea is noble to promote unity in the world and the bears are cute too. Some are quite strange and some are warm and welcoming. Malaysia UBB is on its first tour and attracted Malaysians of course :)
The strange one, from Israel. So weird. The message is mixed up!
Mama bear from Columbia. So lovable!
Have you ever heard a country called Maldova? The art is fun and welcoming.
Another one from Canada.
An array of United Buddy Bears.
And people admiring the United Buddy Bears, including me!
They will be here until 15 February 2012. If you are in KL, don't miss to visit this exhibition. Look out for the weather though. Like today, its sunny outside and convenient to walk around the area. There are ample space for everyone. No entrance fee but parking fee in the mall is quite high. And my parking fee today is RM12.00.
